I stepped out of the house about an hour ago and was greeted by the smell of smoke. I was going to buy some food in Panania (the next suburb over), and when I was there, you could really see the smoke coming up in the distance.

When I got home I grabbed my camera and took a picture for you to see. This is from my backyard.


It looks like that poor house is on fire. lol

I don't think this is anything serious though. Smoke always looks closer than it is. Still kinda freaky when you live in heavily infested tree areas though. =P For all I know they could just be backburning. But, I thought it was kinda cool nevertheless.

I was supposed to go shopping with gurpie, but my parents were like 'but...you need to stay home and check if the fire's coming' LOL, so I'm not going. Sorry gurpie. =P
