On Wednesday night, Roger and I went to the Lady Gaga concert. We got to the city in the afternoon, had lunch at Market City, and then wandered to the Sydney Entertainment Centre to see if anyone had started lining up yet. They had. Mind you, this was at around 4pm and the concert wasn't supposed to start until 7:30. -_-

So....we lined up too. =D It's actually a pretty good thing we did, because we ended up being in like, the second row from the barrier. Yay! I reckon we could've had a barrier spot if the organisation wasn't so horrid. The dude was like 'line up' and we had. and we were all nice and organised. and then BAM! 'oh hay, I'm like, gunna open the door now, so...screw the nice neat lines you've made and all barge to the door. kthxbai'. Fail.

Speaking of fail...The opening act was SO BAD! Omg I wanted to rip my ears off. And, and, the lead singer guy changed his pants....ON STAGE. Although I suppose that isn't so bad since it didn't even look like he was wearing pants to begin with. But really, it was worth missing. And a lot of the people who had bought seated tickets actually didn't turn up until 9pm. Smart, smart people. They must've read online reviews...

See...it looks like he's not wearing pants!

That's how empty it was. -_-

After the opening act finished, (they only played for half an hour, thankfully) we actually had to wait about an hour for lady gaga to come on. They were playing MJ songs while we were waiting, and after every song finished people would cheer because they thought she was finally going to come on. Thinking back, it's pretty funny. But being there, not so much. Especially after our ears had been destroyed by Semi Precious Weapons, which is the opening act I was referring to.

But, when she finally came on, it was all worth it. She is seriously amazing live, and I'm so happy I got to go to the concert. =D I took heaps of pictures too. I got some pretty good ones since we were pretty close and all. You'll get to see some of her crazy costumes. =P I had a 'costume' change of my own actually. I plonked on some heels for the concert. Because, you know, I'm a shrimp. And that was all well and good UNTIL MY TOES BECAME NUMB. omg, the levels of pain were epic. and everytime I moved my feet it was like death. So Roger had to hold onto me while I pried my shoes off and put my flats on. All while standing up mind you. Do you know how hard that is?! Anywho, it gives me a new appreciation for platform shoes, because these were just ordinary heels, and my toes will probably never forgive me.

Anyway, photo time!

Her man posse was pretty funny. At one point they were only wearing underwear and thrusting at us. LOL.

Her crazy gandalf stick.

During the song 'speechless' I think. The piano was on fire as well, but I couldn't get a good pic of it. It was pretty awesome because she stopped singing at one point and the crowd sang. Love it when that happens. =D

EPIC-est costume EVER. It was moving and everything!

The awesome fish krakken thing. XD

Finito. =D

And just in case you were wondering, yes, there were some people who dressed crazy. =P What with the cans in their hair, danger tape wrapped around them, a dude dressed like a unicorn, and a girl wearing a leotard.

Also, I have done nothing uni related so far in my break.

Crapola.

Kick Ass.

On Wednesday night, Roger surprised me with an early screening of Kick Ass. We didn't manage to get a nice dinner or else we would've been late, so we grabbed some maccas and headed to the cinema, only to be told that we weren't allowed to take the maccas in. GAAAARH! So roger basically had to rush eat and we ended up chucking out half our food so that we could get in and get a decent seat. lol

We did though. and the movie was AWESOME. I think it helped that the atmosphere was great too. I guess that's what happens when there's a packed cinema and everyone had gotten their tickets for free. lmao. It wasn't as crazy as the early screening of The Dark Knight, but that's because the hype wasn't so huge. This was more fuss free though, which was pretty nice. Although we still had to hand over our phones and any recording devices. Gotta love them pirates, eh? =P arrrrr.

Anywho, it was a really nice night and once again, I'm reminded of how lucky I am to have such a wonderful boif. =D

Also...

Yesterday I went to Macquarie Uni with Von and Sarah for the uni's Easter party. We also got to meet a couple of Sarah's friends which was nice too. We just ended up chatting and playing pool [which Von won =P] and...Von had her first full drink. Success! loll, I also learnt that you have to be crazy aggressive when buying drinks [which I am definitely NOT], and that when there are parties with themes, 'the slut rule' seems to apply regardless of whether or not it's halloween. Mind you, I was plenty comfortable in my jeans and long sleeved top, so I have to say, I didn't care too much that I wasn't dressed up. XD

I'm seeing Sarah and Von again tomorrow, as well as Lauren! YAY!

Anyway, I hope you guys all have a wonderful Easter.

Ciaaaoo.

So on the 21st I went to a concert with Roger with at the Metro Theatre. It was the Calvin Harris concert with the Cassette Kids and some DJ peeps as the opening acts. It was prettyyyy funky. We got there pretty early so we managed to get right up on the barricade. =D Unfortunately though, we were in a spot where Roger got superly blinded by the light, and after the cassette kids we moved amongst the crowd more so that he didn't end up with a seizure or something. lmao. Poor guy. But it was actually pretty cool that way. The atmosphere was CRAZY. All the sweaty people elbowing you in the head as they jumped around, beer cup in hand, spilling alcohol onto your unsuspecting legs. LOL. I make it sound great, don't I? =P But nah, it was epic. And jumping around like a psycho is fun too. =D Oh, and by the way, the music was awesome. =D I didn't bring my camera along so I used my phone instead. I tried to get a pic of all three acts, but seriously, getting a decent pic of Calvin Harris is impossible. People were going nuts. lmao. In any case, have a look. =]

The DJ peeps.

The Cassette Kids. Her skirt was epicly short. And I'm sure she flashed a LOT of people. But hey, when you're in a band, who really cares?

Calvin Harris. STOP MOVING CALVIN!!!

All in all, I had a heaps awesome night. =]

Also, I just wanted to show you these pair of boots on eBay that I want. They're the thigh high type, and they're apparently 'artificial leather' [but really, they look suede, which is probably why I'd want them more], and..really. they're just plain funky looking.

And very impractical. Probably impossible to wear during rain, a thin heel, and the little elastic detailing things on them don't actually stay where they're supposed to. Um. You'll see what I mean in the pic.

See? Even in the pics you can see the elastic-ish bits malfunctioning.

Hm...It's sad to say that it still doesn't really put me off though. Only thing putting me off is that it's $52 incl. postage. Although if you think about it, that's not too bad for boots. But even so! It's enough to deter me. For now. =[

Anywhooo, that's it. =]

The New Year

I haven't had an opportunity to blog in the new year as yet, so Happy New Year! I decided not to make any New Years resolutions this year. For one thing, I never remember them and also, I can never be bothered. So, I'm just going to go with the flow and do things when the mood strikes. =D

I've had a pretty pleasant start to the new year, I brought in the new year with the boif, caught up with my friends, and have once again started learning Spanish. I'm doing pretty well too! I have to say, I'm pretty chuffed. =P

I've also never felt more normal in all my life, as strange as that sounds. A lot of people around me are going into overdrive with problems, and...I feel fine. I'm happy with how I cope with things and I'm happy with the way things are in my life. So, yeah. It's been a wonderful start to 2010 for me.

Anywho, yesterday I went out to lunch with Lauren and Siobhan. It was nice to catch up with them. I hadn't seen them in...I don't remember, but it's felt like awhile. loll. We went to have thai food [YAY!] and it was really quite delicious as well. My rice was star shaped for goodness sake, STAR SHAPED! Sorry, but I was pretty excited when I saw it. =P

you can't really see the shape thaaaat well in the photo, but still!

We just ended up chatting about our lives and all the super exciting things going on. Which, for anyone who knows us, is really not that much =P But it was nice catching up anyway. loll. Once we were done eating we decided to walk around and check out some of the random shops and stuff. Lauren ended up finding a bowl for her fighting fish! And we managed to pick up a few awesome things at woolies, like this:

Like seriously. Wii candy dispensers?! YES PLEASE! These just speak to my inner nerd. Actually, my nerd isn't really so 'inner', but you get my drift. =D

Before heading back to Lauren's to watch her transfer her fish to it's new home, we stopped by Gloria Jeans for more chatting and hot chocolate for Lauren. We ended up compiling a list of places to go/things to do for the rest of the holidays. It seems pretty exciting, so hopefully we manage to do everything on there. Besides the scary movie. I DON'T DO SCARY MOVIES! -_-

Wanna see Lauren's fishy? He's absolutely adorable if I do say so myself. Except...you probably wouldn't want to put a living thing in the same bowl as him, because, it might not be alive for long. He's quite the vicious thing. Watching him escape from the bag lauren was trying to get him into was epic enough =P

sexy, no? =P

We did actually take pictures of each other, well...most are of me and Lauren. Vonny isn't as vain =P but...I'll spare you, and leave it to fb to show you our attempts at taking photos of each other. lol.

And...I think that's it. =]

Hope you're having a lovely day!
xx

P.S. I was looking on google to try and figure out what my fear was called, and I'm PREEETYY sure it's demonophobia.

"Demonophobia: An abnormal and persistent fear of evil supernatural beings in persons who believe such beings exist and roam freely to cause harm. Those who suffer from this phobia realize their fear is excessive or irrational. Nevertheless, they become unduly anxious when discussing demons, when venturing alone into woods or a dark house, or when watching films about demonic possession and exorcism."

Explains a lot doesn't it? =P This is why I am NOT watching Paranormal Activity.

My stress-o-meter is off the charts. As I'm sure Siobhan would know considering that I just had an epic vent to her. (even air vents would be jealous).

I went into my high school today to ask if I could do observations. It was so strange going in there and talking to the teachers and stuff. Very, very weird. But oddly quite comfortable too. Anywho, I went there to see the head teacher of geography dept. But he wasn't there. fail. Luckily all the other teachers were there, and when I told them about observations and all, they were all quite positive about it and saying how I can come in after school holidays when it's calmer and all that jazz, and yeah, they told me to call up the head teacher tomorrow or something, but my business studies teacher got my number (bow chika wow wow), so I dunno if I'm meant to call, or like...do I wait for him to call? Man, it's like what happens after a date. =P

Hopefully I'll be able to do observations soon though...or before friday on the first week back. I didn't realise that my portfolio was due so fricken soon. School starts up again on the 19th of October, but my portfolio is due on the 23rd...so...I sense that I'm going to be effed. *Panic*

In other news, I had my b'day lately. Yay! On saturday I went out to celebrate with my friends. In the morning/afternoon Von and I helped squidge make the cake. We are soooo pro at cutting chocolate into little pieces, so if you ever need that done (since it's like, an essential part of everyday life and all), you know who to call. =P

the delicious finished product =D

Von's pro decorating skeels. XD

Later in the night we went out to dinner at Newtown. *drool* I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Or...maybe I'm actually hungry. hm...Anyway, it was nice. We had a banquet and the amount of food was epiiiiccc. Honestly I can barely remember what actually happened during dinner. I know that gurpie was entertaining the girls, so that was fine. I was too busy pigging out to notice anything I think. The guys seemed awkward though. Or maybe they were just too busy engaging in man talk. Seriously, a lot of the time they were just sitting there....nodding. Yes......very peculiar creatures...

After dinner it was only 8 or so, so we went on a walk to find someplace to hang out for awhile. We ended up heading to Malborough hotel. I think. Or is that a cigarette? =/ I can't remember now, but it started with an M. loll. It was a bar so we just got some drinks, played pool and took a kazillion photos. =D Including funky ones like this:

to extremely silly ones, like this:

All the other photos are on my facebook anyway, so I'm too lazy to stick them here. XD Anywho after a few games of pool, boredom ensued so we decided to head back. At a decent time and everything! My mummy sure was proud. Not really. But she was pretty happy when I told her I took off the heels. HAHAH.

Initially I was wearing my platform studded heels. the ones of death. And after almost killing myself before I even got to the ticket machine at my local station, I decided to do the smart thing and put on flats. XD Sigh, those shoes are so lovely, and they're not getting the love they need from meeee. I suppose it'd help if they weren't so murderous though. I guess that could be a new way to help someone kick the bucket, just get them some crazy high heels. =D

This entry is longer than I thought it'd be. Wooo!

I won't promise to update soon, but, you know, I think I'm going to be ranting a hell of a lot more in the next couple weeks, and that generally just means more entries. lol

I'm sure we'll talk soon.

It's that time of semester when people stop doing their readings and stop coming to lectures.

I am feeling lazy BEYOND BELIEF! and my sleeping patterns are effed to the maximus. I was having a nice little nap after coming home from animania today, and then my bro comes home and makes me drive him to his friend's house. sigh.

It's been a year since I've signed up to ebay. Happy one year! HAHA. Now I know how lots of guys feel when they have to pay for their girlfs all the time. Why does this have to be such an expensive relationship eBay?! WHY?!

Speaking of milestones and such, my 20th birthday is on Wednesday. I'm pretty excited actually. Being older = being closer to everything I want in my life. For instance, getting out of uni. =P But yeah, I'm also looking forward to my party. ish. Parties where I have to be the focus is...not ideal. lol. but i dunno, hopefully it'll be fine. The morning of my party is when my high school's garden fair is on, so I think I'll be visiting there with Sarah in order to track down teachers and do my observations. =]

Hm..I took a few pictures today at Animania. Here's one which was pretty much the focus of the day.

If you're not at animania to see cosplayers....I don't know what you're there for! It was an okay day, I think Supernova was a lot better, but yeaah, it was alright. =] I have other photos to put up, especially the ones of Tan wearing this hilarious brown cap thing with ears. it's so cute, but it's hilarious. XD

Did I mention that I need to lose weight? Urgh. All this angsty stuff is so annoying, but it's on my mind, and I guess my virtual mind is here, so yes...Why couldn't I have an awesome metabolism?! Well actually I think I make it worse by having ridiculous sleeping hours....sleeping at 6am generally means starving for hours. so..I guess first step is fixing my damn sleeeep pattern. =[

Maybe you should all pitch in and get me lyposuction for my b'day. =P I would love you forever. lmao. A boob job probably wouldn't go astray either. kthxbye. =D

Anywho....that's all for now. Watching Saturday night movies on tele is love.

The Perfect Shoe

Before I do anything, my eBay account name is fishimi. =P Seriously, I use that name everywhere. -_- It's effective though, no one else is a loser and uses it as a username so it makes life easier and...numberless. If you get..what..I mean....

Anywaaay, I'll tell you about my day yesterday! Aside from seeing Roger in the day, I went out to dinner with Gurpie, John, and Huy. There was trackwork, so Gurpie and I had to catch the bus to Bankstown and get the train from there. I let gurpie play with my camera the whole night, so 99% of the photos are randoms, including pictures of grass or whatnot, so here's a few of the more normal ones. =P

I was in the middle of talking, but it sort of looks like im smiling, so whatevs. =P

The awesome sign at Bankstown Station lol

John on the train! You can see my reflection in the background. lol, gurpie didn't take any pics of huy though. He came late so missed out on her photo taking spree at the station. -_- lol

But anywho, it was just a little get together. A bit smaller than the usual, but considering how it panned out, that's probably a good thing. loll, Huy, who I haven't seen since he was dating Linda [a girl that I spent 4 years in English class with in high school], is very....out there. lol. He wasn't very shy with asking all the random nosy 'so tell me about your sex life' type questions. I was kind of expecting it though. The first time I met Roger it was thanks to Huy and Linda. =] It's pretty different though because the other guys NEVER ask about that stuff, and don't mention roger so much at all actually. I think Gurpie and John were a bit unsure what to make of the whole thing really.

But nah, it was actually quite nice. Dinner was at Thai Pothong, which is where we went for Gurpie's b'day last year. Gotta love Newtown and the kazillion thai restaurants it has to offer. =D Anyway, after dinner we just walked around for a bit, and then since we didn't really have anything to do, we hopped in Huy's car and he drove us around for like...an hour and a half or something with various pit stops along the way, e.g. Maccas for a bathroom stop [Which was fricken disturbing btw, um, how can you chuck a number 2 and miss the toilet?! HOW?!], and then various video stores that were all closed =[ So we just headed to liz's since she wasn't opposed to having us crash there at 11:30 at night.

When we got there we jus twatched a movie with her and her sisters, with occasional talking and whatnot until...

'Guys, I need to go, I need to go to the hospital'.

Gurpie had gotten a call from her cousin saying that her brother hadn't come home and so she was trying to find out where he was and everything and then got a message from his best friend telling her to go home and that they needed to get to the hospital. So we hopped back into huy's car and he dropped gurpie home first. Turns out her brother was at home, but vomiting. He had gone to the hospital but got released. So thank goodness everything was sort of okay there. Then yeaah, Huy dropped me home. =]

Anywaaaaay, I think you probably all know by now that I have this strange love for platform shoes. I was hovering around the American eBay and looking at their shoes since I've been a little let down by the Aus site lately. And then I saw these:

As Vonny pointed out, the shoes look kind of big on those feet. Howeveeerr, I still like them. =D These are probably the only pointed toe shoes I would ever like. Also they're patent, which usually wouldn't float my boat either. The heel is thin too, and if you know how unco I am, then...well, that probably isn't too good either. BUT aside from all that...IT'S LOVE! I dunno if I would ever buy it though, but it's nice to look at nevertheless. =] [edit: general consensus is that these shoes are hideous. LOL. I'm gunna make a post next time and show you the kind of shoes I like so you can tell me how my taste compares to yours, fun? yes!]

Also, I went to woolies today. I needed to buy all this random stuff to make chocolate mousse. loll. I'll let you know how it turns out. Anyway, I've found a new magazine to fawn over every month. SHOP til you drop is pure awesome. It's jam packed with clothes and where to buy them. Hm...along with my brand new debit mastercard, this is probably going to be bad for my bank account..but..well....at least I get to test out my willpower! =P

Oh. One last thing. I got my uni results. 2 Credits, 2 Distinctions. I'm pretty happy. I'm a bit headdesky at Geoscience though. I got the same mark for it 3 semesters in a row. like wtf! Sigh, at least I'm consistent, right?

Love much,
xx

Black Party

..I started writing this blog entry, got quite a bit into it, and decided to start over. lol. So let's try again!

On thursday morning I woke up at 4am so I could get i the last bit of cramming for my final exam. Argh that was painful. I only got about 1 and a half hours sleep, and considering I was going to be out the entire night I knew I was going to look and feel like death. lol. Anywho, I hopped on the train and headed to my uni. When I got onto the elevator to get to my exam room I bumped into ben, a guy in my prac class. Once we got off we saw kelly too, then we were all freaking out about how much we don't know about the exam and how ridiculous the content of the unit is. loll. After a bit we head into the exam room.

THANK JEBUS FOR READING TIME! Seriously, if it didn't exist I'd probably be even more screwed than I already was. I didn't know the answers to anything in the second half of the exam. =D So reading time gave me a chance to think of all the bull I was going to make up. hahaha. It was a two hour exam and once I had gotten to the 1.5 hours mark I had some serious munchies, and my stomach wasn't very quiet in telling me so. So, I just quickly finished off my answer and left the exam. Nice way to finish off your exams, eh? =P

I was going to meet up with Tan afterwards to go get his hair cut and all that jazz before the black party tonight. His exam finished at 12:40 so I had awhile to wait. I just sat in Victoria Park and ate while being accompanied by a seagull. I took a picture of the view to show how pretty it was and also to demonstrate the extent to which UTS impedes on the skyline. lmao, it was taken on my 0.3mp phone camera, so sorry for the quality -_-

Luckily he finished early though, so at around 12 I headed to the UTS tower and met up with him. Okay, I thought I looked bad, he looked even worse. LOL. He'd gotten more sleep than I had as well. But yeah, we set off and went to this funky japanese hair place near market city. That place is lush. They give you water, and refills!! Without you even asking as well. I was like, stunned. Plus, they have lucky bamboo on their counter, so bonus points to them. =P Anyway, we just parked there for awhile and chatted while he was getting his hair done, left when his hair was all styled and stuff, then headed to market city to quickly hunt for a belt for him.

It was all a very fast process. Headed pretty much straight to yd. he found the reversible belt he wanted and so we went to the counter. Sigh. One of the guys working there needs to learn some customer service skills. Or some manners at least. Initially there was this whole kerfuffle about whether the belt was the right size or not [which it wasn't, facepalm at tan. lol], and once he got the right size...

Worker dude: That'd help to keep your pants up eh?
Tan: ahhaha yeah
Worker dude: *looks at me* most of the time anyway..
Me: *ignores him and tries to radiate hate vibes*

WHAT AN ASS!!!! Inappropriate much?! I wanted to punch him in the face. Actually, I still do. If you go to market city yd please punch all the workers there, compliments of duong. Thanks.

Anyway, afterwards we went and caught the train since it was 2:30 and we still needed to get home and change so that we could get back to the city by 5.

***

I'm dressed, packed, and off to get the train. When I get off at central I have to pretty much walk the length of the platform to get out of the eddy ave exit. bzzzz bzzzzz. I get a phone call as I'm walking down the stairs. Since I'm wearing high heels and I'm uncoordinated enough as it is, I wait to get to the bottom before I check who it is.

It's Steven. Yes, my ex, for all of you playing at home. Anyway...

Me: ....hello?
Him: ..are you wearing black?
Me:...yes...? *looks around*
Him: HAHAHAA where are you going?
Me: To a party
Him: ...a party or a cruise?
Me:.....a cruise...

Then he hangs up. And I'm like, omg...I bet he's going to the cruise. So I msg and ask, and what do you know. He is. Anyway, I wait outside central for gurpie and when she arrives we head off for wagaya for dinner. =]

That place is seriously nice. It all looks very high class and you order off a touch screen and stuff. It's nuts. For awhile it was just me, gurpie, tan and john and we ordered like 10 things. loll. Then liz, y, and amy came, then damian. The food was pretty nice. Conversation was a bit disjointed though..but pleasant nevertheless. Towards the end liz and amy left and the rest of us paid the bill. lol.

The touch screen!!

Some random food. lol

Tan and John

*Mindblank* This is probably why you shouldn't leave it too long after an actual event to blog...

Oh that's right. We headed to the dock. On the way we saw this massive lit up ferris wheel. Gurpie wanted to go on it, and so did damian [hahahahah!], but the rest of us were like...ergh.....coz it was like..10 bucks. and..we're cheap. lol. So we didn't.

It was pretty nuts when we got to the dock though. there were loads of people already waiting. We had VIP tickets or whatever though, so we got in before a lot of the people. Gurpie and I wandered off onto the top deck, and when we came down to find the fricken cloak room [which was pretty much a cloak corner rather than a room..] it was pretty packed. Tan was already waiting so I gave my bag to him to give in with his. Unfortunately, the douche that was working there was all 'only one bag per person'. which is total bull shiz coz when i had to go back and wait, other people were giving in two and stuff. GRRRRRRR. Seriously, gurpie and I were waiting there for like 45 minutes or something. She seemed pretty pissed off. I told her to go and dance or whatever though and that I'd call her, but she stayed anyway. Ah well.

The cruise was reaaallllly fun. We danced, and I obliterated my feet. What more could you ask for!! lol. I bumped into steven a couple times too and there was some brief chatting and he danced with us for a couple minutes or something.

look! you can spot tan burning it up on the danceflooor. =D

see my lace glove? =P

John, gurpie and tan [who looks a bit drunk =P]

At one point Damian felt pretty sick too, but he attributed it to sea sickness rather than being drunk considering he only had one beer. loll. Turns out though, that it was actually the food. John had the food as well and with about half an hour left on the cruise he disappeared to the top deck. When we found him he was leaning over the side and was pale, teary and...well. He'd probably have fit right in with the zombies in MJ's 'thriller' hahah. We were pretty damn worried about him. I think he was dehydrated and sick from the food so yeah. luckily the bar has free water. When I asked if I could have water the dude was like 'yeaahh, but it's 5 bucks' and I'm like..'you're kidding!' and he's all '...i am actually, hahahah!'. I was pretty confused at first. LOL. but yeah. we got there in the end. =P

We spent the rest of the cruise looking after john and just sitting there talking. I didn't really mind that actually. It was really quite nice and refreshing compared to the stuffyness of the dance floor. Once we docked and got kicked off the boat we went to find somewhere to sit for awhile so that john was able to actually recover properly before we headed to the afterparty. I got a chance to change my shoes too. Thank jebus I brought flats along. I'm telling you, the gel party feet thingies do NOTHING! Well, they do help a bit, but thing is, they made the top of my toes rub on the tops of my shoes instead. fail. lol. lucky I had a bandaid with me too.

Everyone except me and gurpie sitting on the steps waiting for john to recover. You can tell he's a bit out of it in this photo. lol

Anyway, once all was well and good we walked past Docks which was where the afterparty was. It looked pretty dead though..so we just decided to go to maccas instead. =P It was past midnight by then so they were about to close but we luckily hopped in the line before they started rejecting people. lol. Happy meals ftw! Afterwards we went back to docks and just went in and hung out for awhile. Damian ran into some other friends of his and we ended up following them for awhile while we decided what to do next. We ended up going to the maccas on george st while we decided since it was a 24hr maccas and since it was freezing outside. lol. Tan was pretty keen to go home due to lack of sleep and all, so he left with damian. Oh, liz, amy and y had left before we went to maccas, so by then it was only john, gurpie and me.

We decided to go and karaoke in china town. We were there for an hour just singing ridiculous songs like '10 little indians'. loll. They closed at 4am, and we were out of time at about 3:40. But we just sat in there talking until 4 anyway. lmao. Afterwards we were lucky enough to come across this little 24hr bakery/cafe on george st. we camped out beside the heater there and whittled away the hours until 6am where we could go and get some maccas breakfast. =P It was pretty fun, we prank called the guys who had left early and were harassing them for leaving early and not even being asleep yet at 5 in the morning. lmao. John did the whole breathing heavily into the phone thing. it was lols. =P We also saw people wandering around the city with bedsheets too. and...one guy with a milk crate on his head. LOL.

In the bakery/cafe. =] Doesn't she look cute? She stole John's jumper so the guy was freezing to death. tsk tsk.

When it was 6, we headed to maccas and got hotcakes. They are seriously delicious. and..over 50% of your daily sugar intake. lmao. It was worth it!!! We ended up heading home at about 8 or so. John came on the train with us too. Got home, gurpie stayed and chatted for awhile, my sister came in and let us know Michael Jackson had passed much to our disbelief, then gurpie got picked up by her brother and I dropped on my bed and slept til 4 in the afternoon. lmao.

gurpie's first hotcake experience. Can you believe it?!

The train home. ^^ you can see how stoned John looks. Actually. we look pretty good considering we were out all night. =D

And...that's it!

....This was like the longest post I've ever written. lol. and I even have more!! I'll save that for tomorrow though, so you have the opportunity to digest this entry before I bombard you with more text. lol.

Later mash potaters,

New Experiences

You know, the 'N' on my keyboard has disappeared. Maybe this means it's my most used letter. Or maybe I just press really violently on my Ns. Yeah, that sounds more plausible.

Anyway, let's recap what I did today! [Besides procrastinate, because really, when am I not procrastinating?!] This morning I went to panania for a bit, came home, went to bankstown and bought mum a mother's day gift for tomorrow, came home, hopped online and then got kidnapped by lauren. With my permission. =D

Lauren had to keep the car running so we went to pick up Von and drove around for awhile. We ended up at Padstow and got some nifty supplies for Lauren and some lollies to fatten ourselves up with. Afterwards we went and did what any other normal 19 year olds would do. That's right. We went to the park! And not just any park. This park was like....decked out. It even had a rock climbing wall! See, and with this one, you don't need to get crazy wedgies from harnesses. BONUS! Anywho, we saw a family coming along so we decided to move since lauren was being all selfish and wanted the lollies all to herself. =P We plonked ourselves down on a patch of...rock...and hung out for awhile. Then my inner hamburgler wanted a cheeseburger, so we headed to maccas before heading home. =]

So...That was my day. Oh. and as I told von super excitedly:

"zomg. i had to drive by myself just before. my bro was going to a party so he drove on the way there. and i had to drive back. and i used the gps. =D it was only from picnic point... -_- but whatevs! oh. and my mum was there too. but she can't drive anyway, so its like im on my own. >.> XD"

lmao. I'm not a shabby driver even when it's dark...and I can't see anything. Is that confidence boosting or what?! Now who wants to get in a car with me? =P

Before I leave, some photos from today's adventure:

Lauren, doing all the work on the see-saw. =P

The super awesome play equipment!

Lauren and Von schnitzel sitting on their rock patch with their push pops!
